KIDS @ COAST

We believe that kids are an incredibly valuable part of our community.

We believe each child is an image bearer of God.

We want each kid to know that they are loved by God.

Each Sunday, through song, play, teaching, crafts, and prayer, we want kids to come to know God, to experience what it means to be loved by God, and to develop a character of love.

NEW TO KIDS @ COAST?

Checking-In

When approaching the church building from the parking lot the kids check-in area is to the far left side of the building. Childcare is available for children ages 0-4 during our worship services.  You will be greeted by our children's ministry team at the door.

During the worship service

We believe that much of faith is "caught" in addition to being "taught" so we welcome all of our kids into the worship service to sing and pray with us. During the sermon kids are invited to go to "children's church" where there is an age specific teaching (which sometimes includes crafts). Kids are welcome to stay in the worship service with their families.

There is also childcare available for pre-school and under children for the entire service. You can check your child into childcare in the children's ministry area.

How are kids broken into ages?

For Sunday School kids are broken into ages 0-4 years old, kindergarten - 3rd grade, and 4th - 6th grade.

During the children's church kindergarten - 6th grade are together.

Who are the children's ministry team?

All of our children's ministry team have gone through an application process. The team is comprised primarily of parents with young children and some of our high school students. 

I'm new to Coast

If you are new at Coast Community please come and introduce yourself to our team (even if you are wanting to have your child with you in the service). We would love to make a personal connection with you and your family!
